inspiring a moody girl

Describing someone as moody doesn’t usually spark good thoughts but I am a moody girl. It’s mid October and my moods seem to be changing by the moment! 

Gently swirling leaves outside my window make me want to grab a cozy blanket and spend the day lounging in front of a fire. The weather forecast, predicting mid 70 degrees and sunshine for this coming weekend, has me longing for another dinghy ride, a romantic dinner on the lake, and watching an early sunset. The images on Instagram that are hinting of Christmas are getting me excited for the holidays. This is all an intoxicating combination that feels like sensory overload, directly affecting my moods! Dreamy sweaters and soft blankets. Color palettes of amber, gold, and cream. Moonlight reflecting on a dark blue, rippling lake. Twinkle lights on evergreen branches with sparkling ornaments. I find it all so joyful!
