My Magical Week

​This past week was magical! I finished rewriting my daily reflections from the 30-day long boat trip that we took last summer, I learned how to use AI to design products, and I MADE MY FIRST SALE! (Sorry, I'll stop shouting but I'm sooooo excited!!!) I feel as giddy as a little girl who just made her first sale at her lemonade stand. :-) Seriously. 

My excitement is from working with AI because I've always wanted to be an artist who draws and paints stunning works but I'm not there yet. Not. Even. Close. I have ideas of images I want to create so AI takes my descriptive words and puts out these beautiful designs I could've never created. It's truly amazing to me! All of the romantic, dreamy ideas that float around in my head can be made visible if I describe them correctly. And I can then apply them to products. Isn't that cool?!

I'm also feeling incredibly relieved and fulfilled for completing the rewrite of our trip. If you didn't already know this, I used to write daily posts on Facebook whenever we were traveling. I did it for several years and loved it. Last November, my account was compromised and I lost everything I had on Facebook. This inspired me to start a blog focused on travel and boating. I started with our most recent trip which was last summer and it was 30 days long so this took a lot of effort to rewrite from memory. I enjoyed this immensely because I was immersed in the details all over again. I wrote as much as I could and this time, I inserted hyperlinks to most of the places I'm talking about and shared many more pictures. It was fantastic to relive this trip again. It's done now and on my blog. I feel as if I moved mountains to accomplish this task.

With that huge project behind me, I am free to play more and see what other product designs I can come up with. I'm also looking forward to writing about many more of our travel adventures. Spending so much time at home these past few months, I've made many changes in our house and I'm excited to share this with you too! 

What an adventure this is. I'm loving creating it and letting it all unfold naturally, sharing whatever is in my heart.​
