Monday, July 29, 2024: I'M SO HAPPY! Last night, we made the decision to return to Cheboygan today! We enjoyed our first stay there and we're looking forward to visiting again! At 10:24 a.m., we left Hessel and headed back across Lake Huron. 70 minutes later, the mouth of the Cheboygan River was in sight. :-) We even got our same boat slip as before. There were some spotty showers today but I didn't mind at all because it was comforting to be back in a familiar place. Naturally, we took some dinghy rides back and forth to town and then relaxed on the boat. Leaving Hessel Bay There it is....the mouth of the Cheboygan River. It's much easier to see today in calm water. Boat envy...and we love the names...Pearl is the boat and Mini Pearl is the dinghy. :-) Watching the world go by on the Cheboygan River
