Moments of Joy
Reflections, Rituals, and the Journey Toward Joy
|
What looks like a vignette is really a love letter to my own becoming. It’s been a long time since I created a meaningful vignette just for me. As I’ve been pouring heart and energy into launching the Morning Joy collection, I felt a quiet pull to do something symbolic—something that would ground my intentions in the physical world. This morning, while moving through my office, I noticed an ostrich feather on the floor. Most likely, it had fallen from a duster used by the cleaning crew, but it caught my eye in a way that felt...magical. It stopped me. It stirred something. Without overthinking, I found myself returning to an old habit of decorating with purpose. I reached for a small decorative mirror I’d been storing away and placed it upright in a plate stand. In front of it, I positioned a vibrant, thriving plant and gently tucked the feather among its leaves. On a marble tray beside it, I added a piece of clear quartz and two dimes—each object layered with meaning. Finally, I set the tray before the mirror, creating a small moment, a quiet story. To anyone else, it might just look like a pretty arrangement. But to me, it’s a whispered message to my soul. The mirror and the plant reflect the vision I hold for Morning Joy—thriving, expanding, full of life. The dimes remind me of a deeply personal moment of synchronicity, a whisper from the Universe that once filled me with awe. The crystal adds a layer of clarity and lightness I crave in this season of growth. There is power in decorating with intention. Even the smallest corner of your space can hold your hopes, affirm your dreams, or reflect your joy. I hope this inspires you to create a vignette of your own—filled with symbols only you understand, messages meant just for your soul.
