New Perspectives

My passion is guiding others through the process of transforming their space into one that is their unique expression of beautiful, one that feels nurturing and inspiring to them. As I was spending my days working in an office cubicle, I couldn’t ignore my desires and longings for something more. ​ I didn’t know when I would be ready to let go of my day job so I used my time there to change my environment and fuel my dreams.

I started playing background music, nature sounds with soft music, that was soothing to me and to everyone who might be passing through my area. I filled my computer screen with inspiring images and quotes that rotated throughout the day. I added the words “House + Home = Love” to the back of a clear acrylic award that had the words “You Make A Difference” etched into the front and this became a symbol, a story to myself, that reminded me of my dream career. I created photo collages that were filled with beautiful images of what I want to do and how I want to feel. I filled vases with fresh flowers. My simple office cubicle became a three-dimensional vision board that changed as my feelings and desires changed.

Changing your environment gives you new perspectives which cause new desires. Find a way to reflect those desires into your environment. Notice how it makes you feel. See where it leads you...it’s like creating a breadcrumb trail to your dreams.​
