Hi! I'm Jody! If my name or face is familiar to you, maybe we met during the 31 years I worked at the University of Michigan-Dearborn or maybe we worked together during the 10 years I operated my interior design business. It's also possible we met at a Grosse Pointe Chamber of Commerce networking event. Either way, I'm so happy you're here!
If you previously visited this website, Jody Pear Designs, it will look completely different to you now. That's because I shifted from interior design to boating! Quick story...Three years ago, I started the habit of writing daily on Facebook whenever I traveled or went on a boating adventure. Recently, my account was compromised and suspended. For now, I don't have access to everything I shared on that platform, including the 30-day, life-changing, boating adventure I wrote about. The combination of these two events inspired me to recreate Jody Pear Designs to feature my love of the water; my personal language of a boater's soul. In my new blog, I'm in the process of recreating my daily journals from our most recent boat trip. Then I'll be continuously adding more trips, past and future, including many of the countless pictures I take everywhere we go. In my shop, you'll find wears, artwork, and other items that I designed for my own excitement and desire to express my joy of living a boater's life. Welcome aboard to my new oasis! |
