The power of decorating can remind you who you are and why you do what you do. Maybe you received an award for an accomplishment or outstanding service. Consider placing it near a candle to reflect on that moment again. Maybe you can print out some happy messages you received from coworkers and place them in an attractive box. Maybe there are some books that helped you to develop into the professional you are today. All of these items can serve as symbols and placing them together creates a powerful story. Pull them close to you as you work and notice how uplifted you can feel.
